Small bars: new signs

The NSW Government's 24-hour economy reforms allow minors on small bar premises in certain circumstances from 11 December 2020.

They require relevant signs to be displayed, in addition to other mandatory liquor licence signage:

• Sign 7L - for small bars which regularly serve food, and where minors will be in the company of a responsible adult and any other requirements are met, or
• Sign 8L - for small bars granted a minors authorisation on the licence.

Other small bars should continue to display Sign 6L, in the new design released in 2021.
